BGSU students learned in Nagoya
For the past ten years, NGU has hosted a Summer Study group from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
This year, nine students and a professor arrived on June 7. NGU students served as tutors for the BGSU students.
The tutors assisted not only with language tutoring, but also provided students with information for living in Japan.
The BGSU group worked very diligently. They visited various places in the Nagoya area and in other regions of Japan.
Activities included pottery making, touring an old castle and visiting the ancient capitals of Kyoto and Nara.
The program ended on July 6 and the group departed the following day.
